Unfortunately after recent events we have decided to postpone this summer’s holiday camp. The government have recently released guidelines for holiday camps and unfortunately we feel that these social distancing measures will not allow us to provide the best experience possible. We will be back next year and we hope to receive the same amount of support that we have received this year. The enthusiasm shown towards the UK’s 1st maths and football camp has been infectious.

Pre-purchased ticket holders are eligible for a FULL refund, or the option to carry tickets over to one of next year’s camps. Thank you again to all who supported us from the start and we intend to be back bigger and better next year. Keep an eye out for our online maths video lessons as part of the ‘Equalizers Summer Fives’ catch-up programme coming to you at the end of July 2020.

Welcome to Equalizers Academy. Our vision at Equalizers is to inspire and educate girls and boys aged 7-11 by exploring the inherent link between two fundamental parts of their lives: mathematics and football.

Our aim is to raise confidence and achievement in mathematics in conjunction with improving skills and performance in football. We boast a uniquely designed, tailored Maths Curriculum delivered by outstanding qualified teachers in the classroom; as well as high quality FA licensed football coaching on the pitch.

The Equalizers Maths Curriculum is built around the mathematics that exists within football. Each lesson is solely designed around mathematical concepts that are evident within the ‘beautiful game’. Each coaching session on the pitch is directly linked to each mathematical concept taught in the classroom.

Imagine the enhancement in understanding of percentages by the investigation of possession statistics and win rates – both in the classroom and on the pitch. When mathematics is made relevant to football scenarios, it not only increases the ease of understanding in the classroom, it develops performance on the pitch.
